
These are my go to white bread recipes. I have made several different types of bread in the last year. I use the Sweet Bread shown below to make cinnamon rolls.
White Fluffy Bread
- 1 2/3 cups lukewarm water
- 1 Tsp of sugar
- 1 TB of honey
- 1 Tsp of salt
- 1 1/2 TB of unsalted butter cubed room temp
- 4. 1/2 Cups of all purpose flour
- 2 1/4 of instant heat or active dry yeast. (I personally use active dry yeast)
I personally use a bread machine on dough setting to mix my dough. I add the ingredients as they on listed. You are more than welcome to do to it all by hand – many, many blessing to you.
This recipe makes a large loaf. I now divide the dough in 1/2 and make 2 smaller loaves.
Preheat oven to 390 degrees F and adjust oven rack to lower-middle rack position.
Bake loaves for 25 – 30 minutes until golden brown. Brush top with butter if you like.
SWEET BREAD
- 9.8 oz of water
- 6 1/4 Tsp of sugar
- 2 TB powder milk
- 1 Tsp of salt
- 4 TB oil – or – 4 TB melted butter – you pick
- 3 1/2 Cups of all purpose flour
- 1 tsp of active dry yeast
